The dark dial is marked in white for its chrono subdials and tachymeter and includes a magnified date display. Last is an older, original Millenary Chrono that’s perfect for someone wanting the unique oval shape but with more low key styling overall. To add some subtle styling to the monochrome design, the case mixes polished and brushed surfaces. The dark theme carries to the blackened steel case (45mm x 40mm) and black alligator strap. The dark dial features a date display and white gold numerals that are surrounded by a piano key motif as a nod to the musical genius. The dial displays hours, minutes, seconds and also a small date. This classy limited edition is highlighted with a rose gold bezel on its 47mm x 42mm stainless steel case. It’s fitted with a hand-stitched leather racing-style strap. The dial is decorated with black and silver applique in white gold, with silvered counters and red markings for contrast visibility.

We have a pair of limited edition Dual Time models branded for Maserati. This model is stainless steel and measures 47mm x 43mm with a black alligator strap and sapphire caseback. There you can see the working escapement and balance wheel used as decoration instead. Where the left side would usually include a more traditional dial, the 4101 opens it up to the movement. The dial includes the hours and minutes on the right, along with a small-seconds subdial. This new internal addition was designed to be functional while appealing to the overall shape and design, letting us have a view from both the front and back of the watch. The 4101 was introduced in 2011 with a completely new in-house movement.
